On a 2006 Chevy Impala LTZ, what does it mean?

Default On a 2006 Chevy Impala LTZ, what does it mean?

What does the LTZ actually stand for? i.e. SS is Super Sport.

It just indicates the level of interior trim...LTZ is generally pretty nice, leather, better stereo, etc. and just a step below the SS models. Lesser equipped models would be the LS and LT models.

ltz is a trim. it doesnt mean anything more than the trim that is slotted before the ss. you get leather seats, power everything and other options































its like a toyota camry xle, honda civic dx, chrysler 300c, etc. they dont mean nothing but a model trim
