Default How much Power does a 1975 350 Chevy make?

I got this engine & going to have it put in my 88 cadillac brougham. its full-size & RWD.

Its 4 bbl. The performance parts I have is aftermerket distrubutor, edelbrock 1406 carb, & a set of tubular headers.

Well, before you put it in there, you may want to consider the cam and the pistons. As I recall, the older cad's had 427 engines in them. That's a LOT of power because the Cad's hauled around a LOT of steel and extras. I still have access to a good '73 and it always surprises me how dam fast that stock car goes (and quietly)

You may want to re-think the 350 if my recollection is correct. Adding the extras may give you the power but future repairs may make the it more reasonable to go the extra cost up front for the bigger block.

In a Camaro, 140 with a 2 Bbl. 145 with a 4 Bbl.; the 'Vette made 165, with the L-82 optional it made 205 hp. The Chevelle and full-size Chevys probably had similar numbers.

it depends on if its a 350 Lt or just a regular 350 but it could range bettween 200 to 300

From the factory I would say 145bhp for the 2 barrel and 165bhp for the 4 barrel, if you add performance parts for your 350 Chevy you can more than double the power.
