Whay do you think your computer needs rebooted??? This isnt your laptop at home that you just turn it off & restart. It doesnt work like that with automobiles. Only time you need to unplug the modules if you have a logic lock up which only occurs on newer cars with high speed LAN & yours does not have that. But resetting the computer doesnt do anything. When you turn off your car, you remove the power to 99% of the computers. The 1% is for memory of certain things like time, radio presets, shift adapts, etc.

Need more info. Does it crank? What's happening? Gm PCM needs a tech 2 scan tool to reflash it. I'm thinking u missed something like a connector if it cranked before.

You need a OBD2 scanner, and you use it to clear all the codes previously set. A cheap one can be purchased at an auto parts store or online.

Just undo battery hook ups for 5-10 mins that reset the computer on most vehicles
