it could be a fuel seal leak or an imobilser problem or have you tried jump leads from another car to give more battery power see if that makes any difference as diesels take alot of amps to start...hope that helps you

Have you checked to see if the glow plugs are getting 12v feed?

If your not sure then get a piece of wire and give the feed rail a direct supply for 5 seconds from the battery live.

Your fuel pump has failed very common.

The lift pump inside the injection pump fails causing fuel starvation.

The injector seals and braded fuel line fail causing fuel to run back causing air locks but usuall clears after a bit of winding over to clear air from the fuel system.

A cheap fix is to fit a in line electric fuel pump which will work as soon as the ignition is switched on.

check your heater plugs are getting power...if not the heater relay is at fault...

easy way is to run a jump lead to one of the heater plugs,or to the big wire that feeds them,TOUCH NOTHING ELSE...it will spark slightly, give it 6 seconds connected then try and start it....basically your bypassing the heater plug relay.

You have one or more glow plugs not working. It will start fine when hot too. Roughly around 10 each Very common diesel fault.
